Roller (A77) was born in 2003. He/she (we don't know which yet) was born to Skagit (A35). Roller is Skagit's fourth calf. He/she has three older sisters: Kiltik, Racey and Sunny.
Roller survived his/her first year and is a healthy calf swimming next to mom; he/she was named after Roller Bay, which is on Hope Island, north of Port Hardy.
In 2004, Roller gained two niece/nephews, A81 and A82, when Kiltik and Racey gave birth. So far, the whole family is doing well!
Roller's page is pretty empty because his/her life is just beginning. Hopefully we'll be able to watch this little one grow up to be a fully fledged member of the society he/she belongs to. He/she is now two years old and going strong!
