KEEP YOUR COMMENTS RELEVANT AND
CONSTRUCTIVE. Comments
which are not relevant to the Concepts For A Digital
World Course (GSCI 1042), and/or are not constructive, will result in a grade
of zero for this bonus assignment.
For example, if you did or didn’t like something, explain why you
did or didn’t like it and what you think would improve it. There are many reasons/causes for
liking or not liking something, including one’s own preferences,
attitudes, expectations, and behaviours. As you think about the comments you are
to make, reflect on the reasons for your thoughts and, after analyzing them and
determining their validity, make your comments.
Although the instructions specify Notepad as the text editor, you may use a
different text editor such as WordPad, etc.
(1) You will be saving the cfadwcomments.txt file you write to your own personal computer's hard drive or, if it is not your own personal computer, use some other form of removable storage media such as a floppy disk or a flash drive.
(2) To start up the Notepad text
editor in Windows:
Click on the the 'Start' menu
Click on: 'Run'
In the 'Open' textbox type: notepad
Click on: 'OK'.
The Notepad text editor window should appear.
(3) At the top left of the Notepad window:
Click on: 'File'
Click on: 'Save As'
Give your file the following name: cfadwcomments.txt
'Save' the cfadwcomments.txt file to
your own personal computer's hard drive or, if it is not your own personal
computer, use some other form of removable storage media such as a floppy disk
or a flash drive.
(4) Copy (Ctrl C) all of the bolded text below, including the heading and
all questions, then paste (Ctrl V) it into your text editor, enter the
identifying information requested, answer questions 1,2,3 below each one, and
type your comments below the word 'Comments:' for each item.
Make sure that your writing is well
organized, coherent, grammatically correct, and typographical and spelling
errors are corrected.
Save your work often to prevent losing it due to a crash, etc.
When you are finished, you should have at least two pages of text
(1,000 words or more of your own, not including the 339 words of the
heading, questions, etc. (minimum total = 1,339 words).) about the
Concepts For a Digital World course (GSCI 1042). To
determine the number of words in your assignment, use the word count utility
at: http://www.wordcalc.com/ If you don’t submit at least 1,339
words, you will receive zero for this bonus assignment.
KEEP YOUR COMMENTS RELEVANT AND CONSTRUCTIVE and DO NOT REPEAT
ANSWERS/COMMENTS STATED IN ONE QUESTION IN ANOTHER.
