These photographs are of RLH 27 (already by then in private
ownership AFAIR), taken on or just after the replacement of
these buses on Route 230 from Northwick Park Station to
Rayners Lane station by one-man-operated buses.

These buses were a "sawn-off" version of the AEC Regent,
enabling them to pass under railway bridges under the Euston
main line in Wealdstone and the Belmont/Stanmore branch in
Kenton. The road at the latter location was lowered in later
years and the bridge was removed after closure of the
branch; the main line bridge is still collecting the
occasional scalp.
