Well, I spet way too much money on orchids, that's obvious. I've stopped for a while, at least until I have enough money to buy nore! The two I hae left are living on top of my dresser. And don't believe everything you hear about how hard orchids are to grow. If you treat them right (and remember to water them on a regular basis! That's what happened to mine - orchids are not cactuses.), they will do very well in the type of environment you like. Keep them warm, and keep the air a bit humid, make sure their water isn't cold, or hot (baby bottle temperature is good). And they'll love you. Some of them may even try to leave their pots to tell you how much they love you.
