Fragapalooza 2001
Thursday, July 19
12:05pm:  Finally got all my network and shit set-up... lots of boringness mixed in w/ some excitement.  I saw Cled (he was busy w/ registration) and Sak (she was busy sleeping).  It's cool to meet all the 1337 people I talk to daily on IRC.. just so odd to have them go from 1000km away, to 1m.  It's just great to see everyone, they're like my...3rd family :).  Everyone's so friendly, it's so peaceful... this will be pretty much my only free time this summer..., so I'll have a chance to work on my Sims family :D.  AND i got to meet the one person i wanted to see most, Chilie.  That = cool. 

So now it's all set-up, so it's time to find me some foodie, and explore the giant building I'll call home for the next 4 days.

3:15pm: W00t!  Nothing beats a ping of 3... Mike's coming down here to check it out and hang out, and I found Chris P, from school, and talked w/ him for a while... it's all good.  FP is a lot of commercialized this year, which does kinda suck, but u can't really blame it since it's gotten so popular over the years.   The last few hours have seen me wandering the area, playing hacky-sac, talking to lots of different people, playing games... working on my Sim family :).  Time for my third Coke in as many hours, and wait for Mike to call from West Ed Mall.

11:35pm:  What a day!  I hung out with mike, watched some of the Matrix, and then played hack w/ a lot of the people i chat w/ at home.  It was kinda weird, yet indescribably cool :).  Now I'm consider where to sleep, lots of small lil area, i'm just scared to wake people up w/ all of my snoring :D.  It's all good.
Friday, July 20
2:34pm:  I didn't go to sleep til 3:30 last night, was too lazy to blow up my air mattress, and realized I forgot my pillow at home.  Played lots of different games, and then wandered the area with different people.  Odd and I were gonna go to a party in a hotel near-by, but that fell through.  It was quite a good night, and there's still so much left.  Just have to find a was to stall time as much as possible:).  If u want the full version of last night, ask :)
Saturday, July 21
3:26pm:  Last night was just one long, traveling party.  Was gonna hang out at a party on the hotel but there was a noise complaint, so we ended up just hanging out-side... playing way too much hacky-sac.  Quite an interesting night, but in the end, I had my mattress full of air and slept like a baby
Sunday, July 22
11:45pm:  I'm home from after FP.  It was a great time, and was too busy to add much to this journal.  I've played way too much hacky-sac.. the back of my knee is killing me.  I must have played 8-10 hours in 4 day... too much fun tho :)  Hung out w/ everyone last night, and then today, the gang went to Earls, where I reflected on the crazy weekend, and how it's sad to see everyone go.  I felt so... natural with everyone there, like we should have been friends for a long time ago, like how I am w/ other friends.  It was great to see Chilie and Diane one last time.  They showed up in the last couple hours, and then came w/ to Earls.  Kinda wish Sak would of came, but she had to hurry on home to PoCo, but Cled, the k-town people, and Grunt came too... I wish I would of spent more time w/ all of them over the weekend, but it was still a kick ass 4 days, that i'll never forget.... now i'm so tempted to fly down to PoCo or Kelowna...time to start saving.

Next weekend, i'll be going camping.  I'll prolly finish the present roll of film I have now and post them on the site soon.  :D
