World Youth Day 2002
Our band
& yours' "Sheep" were the only full band from B.C. Canada to play @ WYD 2002 Toronto. It was difficult at times, ruffin' it with all the equipment, but God provided, and made the event quite memorable... and most memorable it was! Not only did we have our own events averaging about 4 to 500 people per event, but we had the chance to play on national Television via "100 Huntley street" where interviewed for "CTV Web" (link: Http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20020728/catholic_rock_music_020727/” ), had airplay on Vancouver’s “CBC Radio”, and SHEEPS main Drummer Joe Sorenson even had his picture taken for the official “World Youth Day Book” To add to these amazing accomplishments SHEEP lead well known worship and performed original music for over 20 000 youth from all over the world. At Toronto’s CNE band shell SHEEP were featured, and well received at the “Critical Mass and Friends” concert were they played with theme song singer “Janelle”, writer and singer of the Papal masses Alleluia “Greg Magirescu.” O.C.Ps “Julie Lafontaine” and of course the gospel award winning group “Critical Mass”. After the concert SHEEP were asked to join other high-end Catholic musicians in John Michael Talbot’s Catholic Association of Musicians based in New York. It was difficult at times... and some of us are still feeling the effects of that.. But it was an awesome and unforgettable experience!

Heart-Beat
Sheep not too long ago, had their CD revived by Susan M Stien of Heartbeat records who stated that " You [Sheep] have a great sound, I see a bright future for all of you." Well the future is defiantly allot brighter now that heartbeat have picked us up, Here our CD’s, yes that is right CD’s as we are working on #2 and #3, can be purchased via "House of James" Online in Canada and in the states soon you will be able to go to the "Heart-Beat" site to order Sheep stuff... Stay tuned for more!
Breaking News...
2003
Sheep have been invited to play at the "Rock the Mount" event at Mount Carmel in Saskatoon, Sask. Canada on the weekend of August 30, 2003, we will also be playing at the CCO retreat the next day. Rock the mount is from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm
& This should be an amazing and spiritualy uplifting event! Please continue to pray for Sheep and its members... Ed, Joe, James, Jamie, Kevin, Donna and Ellen

December, 2001, 11pm to midnight, promoting our soon to be released CD
"Supernatural Love”, Sheep Shirts & Tapes (on sale now)!
We sang some songs & Jamie along with
Pastor Dave Koop talked about Miracles in our lives. It was a blast! The show
wais a call in show called "Online" with Doug Kooy & the response
from the station was great, expect to see us there again in 2002!
On January
16th 2003 Sheep were back out in Cloverdale (our former ministry home), we had a moderate turnout of
about 60 youth & Young adults, and we had a blast & even did some rap! On January
17th 2003 Sheep were back out at “St Luke’s, Joe the drummer got lost so St Luke's very own Ian came to the rescue. It was a great night, we played for about 80 youth and young Adults & Jamie debuted his song for his wife Ellen… “We Danced”! Sheep were out at ST pauls on Valentines Day.. in Vancouver playing for the Agape Street Ministries… it is all ways a pleasure to help Pat and Vicky Conroy and there work with the Prostitutes of the downtown Vancouver Eastside! We will keep you updated as we get more info!
