I am a student in the Fall 2008 Concepts For A Digital World, (CFADW), course at George Brown College in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.  I am enrolled in the B155 Business Administration Management Studies Coop Program.
I am taking the CFADW course because technology has surrounds almost everyone in the modern society, affects both work and leisure activities. Information technology influences the minds in good and bad ways, and it allows people to share information which they would otherwise not be able to attain.  Technology is one of the principal driving forces of the future; it is transforming our lives and shaping our future. Many different elements affect how satisfied we are with our lives. The impact of technology on these elements can change how safe, healthy and happy people feel. During this course I would hope to grasp how information would impact our life in a day to day basis. Also, why computers were invented and what the future holds for computer technology.

I am extremely interested in general information technology because it is becoming adapted into everyday life which, at the end of the day, affects me. Today, the Internet and associated Technology has the power to transform society. Information technologies are said to be behind an information revolution that is transforming the way people live and work. The specific information technologies that I am interested in are the internet, PDA, and Note Book Computers.

My present knowledge with computers is average.  My knowledge with computer is in Microsoft Office generally. In today business world, many companies are now using more advance technology to operating their operation. Usually I utilize the computer to fulfill my desires when it comes to school and leisure.  The experiences that I have with information technology are average.  There isn't hardly anybody around who can say their lives haven't been influenced by computers. Computers have all but taken over society as we know it. Everywhere you look, computers have greatly improved our lives
